Don is a native of Maine and has always been attracted to the Maine landscape. He particularly enjoys packing up his oil paints and going out on location to record Maine landscapes and the unique Maine light. He also enjoys painting Portland urban landscapes. Don is a member of the Pastel Painters of Maine. One of his paintings was selected for the 2006 International exhibition of pastel painters.
